Dike New-Hartford High School Daily Announcements

On Wednesday, October 11th all JUNIORS have the opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT test.  This will be done onsite starting at 8:20-11:28. This is generally intended for students who are in the top 15% in their class. This test assesses your critical reading, mathematical reasoning, and writing skills. The fee is $16.00 per student payable to DNH. Students should stop in the guidance office ASAP and see Mrs. Ames about signing up and picking up pre-test materials. Wednesday, September 20th is the last day to sign up for the PSAT with Mrs. Ames.  Deadline for turning in your money is Friday, October 6th .


JUNIORS & SENIORS…Colleges and Military Representatives come to DNH to inform students and answer questions about their organizations.  Please stop in Mrs. Ames outer office to see who will be coming/when and if you are interested sign your name up on the sheets hanging up on the bulletin board.   

Juniors and Seniors interested in Job Shadows 1st or 2nd Trimester must sign up by September 15th. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Ascher


Students who need a laptop cover can stop in Mr. Bixby's office and pick one up


Science Club meeting on Thursday at 8AM in Mrs. Slaba’s room.

Starting Sunday, September 10 until Sunday, October 29 there will be basketball open gym for high school boys and girls from 5-7 p.m. each Sunday


FCCLA will meet this Thursday morning at 7:45 in Mrs. Box's classroom.


Check the list on the office window if your name is on it you may see Ms. Petri to pick up your yearbook.  


Slice Ultra-sled  is looking for servers preferably 17 to 18 years old. To apply ask for Julie.


The Rec department is looking for a couple of high school students with soccer experience to help run a camp for preschool and kindergarten ages. The camp will be held starting on October 1 and continue each Sunday through October 22. (4 Sunday's) From 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm. This experience could go towards volunteer experience on the Dollars for Scholars application.  If interested please contact Ashley Beninga via email
