Daily Bulletin
Bulletin 93                 Day 2                 January 11, 2013
 

The menu for today:Hot Ham & Cheese Sandwich, Carrot Sticks, Pineapple Chunks, C. George Fruit Snack, Salad Bar, Milk

There are Music Man CD’s in the music office. You can pick one up this afternoon.  

Vocal is split today - girls first.  Vocal lessons are for girls sitting on the north side of the room.  Row 1 @ 1:05, row 2 @ 1:20, row 3 @ 1:35, row 4 during DEAR.  

Reminder there is musical rehearsal today after school.  Next week’s schedule is posted and will be e-mailed to you and your parents sometime today.  You are doing a great job at musical rehearsals.  Keep up the good work!  Get your lines memorized!!!  

Anyone who is interested in taking Driver Education this spring should sign up in the office.  Deadline to sign up is Jan 31.  Classes will start the beginning of February.

The hall passes have been turned in.  Thank you and remember to return them each time you take one.  

There are Music Man CD’s in the music office. You can pick one up this afternoon.

Anyone who is interested in taking Driver Education this spring should sign up in the office.  Deadline to sign up is Jan 31.  Classes will start the beginning of February.

The office will no longer be giving out Hall passes as they are not being returned, please get them turned in as soon as possible.

Girls vocal 8th hour.  Vocal lessons today:  first row 7th & 8th graders @ 1:00, 2nd & 3rd rows of 7th graders at 1:20, 8th grade baritones @ 1:35, 7th grade baritones during DEAR.

Wednesday vocal lessons for boys - but girls vocal 8th hour.  

Musical rehearsal tonight in the auditorium:  Trent at 6:00, Trent & Mallory @
6:30 (please note time change), Mallory, Isabella, Siylhest, Jacob @ 7:00, Steven, Connor, Bo, Trevor, McClain, Nathan Schmidt @ 7:45.

Congratulations to Broden Coulter, who won yesterday’s Geography Bee.  Second place went to Tavin Despenas and third to Ben Latusek. Thank you to all participants. Good luck to Broden as he completes an exam to qualify for state competition.

Day 3 Band Lessons today.

Mrs. Loger would like to meet with any students and parents who can help create the set for Music Man.  Please come to the auditorium in Dike at 8:30 Saturday morning.  See Mrs. Loger if you’d like to help but can’t come Saturday.  

The Geography Bee scheduled for the Friday before Winter Break will be held Friday (today)  and MONDAY during 8th period and DEAR.

It is your responsibility to get your work done.  Please get all your assignments completed so you are not on the Zap list or ineligibility list on Friday.  
If you are on the Ineligibility list you will not be able to participate in sports or activities for the next week.  Get your work done on time.
Reminder if you are in ZAP you are to report , if you don’t you will receive a
detention.

Boys vocal today.  

Reminder - musical rehearsals begin today after school.  The schedule is posted on the music room doors.  Also, it is a google doc that should have been shared with people in the musical.    We could definitely use more guys in the show.  Please see Mrs. Loger if you have reconsidered and would like to participate.  

Musical rehearsal today as follows:  Maddie Sherwood, Addie Johnston, Emma Eden, Katie Camarata, Lizzy Huntley, Kylie Kyhl, Kenzie Feckers & Hailey Smith @ 4:15.  Chase Arends, Broden Coulter, Gunner Smith, James Heck 5:00-5:45.

On Dec. 21 in the Junior High, movies will be shown in five classrooms to students whose work is complete.

The five films with the highest sign-up rate will be shown.

The Spanish Club will be sponsoring a Jr.High Dance this Friday night, December 14th after the varsity basketball games until 11:00.  It will be at the Dike City hall and cost is $3.00 per person.

On Dec. 21 in the Junior High, movies will be shown in five classrooms to students whose work is complete.  Student Council has selected the following six films.  There will be sign up lists in the JH hallway.  The films include:  Elf, A Christmas Story,The Secret Life of Timothy Green, Home Alone 2 (Lost in New York), Deck the Halls and Finding Nemo.
