Daily Announcements for September 11, 2019.   Day 1

JUNIORS AND THE PSAT/NMSQT TESTS
                On Wednesday, October 16th all JUNIORS have the opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT test.  This will be done onsite starting at 8:20-11:28. This is generally intended for students who are in the top 15% in their class. This test assesses your critical reading, mathematical reasoning, and writing skills. The fee is $17.00 per student payable to DNH. Students should stop in the guidance office ASAP and see Mrs. Ames about signing up and picking up pre-test materials. Monday, September 16th is the last day to sign up for the PSAT with Mrs. Ames.  Deadline for turning in your money is Friday, October 11th. 


TAG students:  You may come in anytime 1st-3rd hour to start working on projects.   The following groups will meet:    Monday: 9:00 am Paper Roller Coasters,    Tuesday:  2nd hour:  History Day  (we will watch the webinar about the theme)  Wednesday:  11:10 am  Future Problem Solving.   Come in ANYTIME with questions!

Juniors & Seniors... Job Shadow applications are now open for the 1st & 2nd Trimester. Take advantage and explore a career you are considering. An email will be sent with the link and if you have any questions please contact Mrs. Ascher. Deadline to submit an application is Friday, September 20.
HS Musical Practice - 7:15-9:15 p.m.  every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday until the show. 
Homecoming Information: 
Homecoming pins are for sale in the art department for $1.00
Homecoming Dress Up Days *Report to the auditorium each morning at 8:15 to be judged and counted. Individual winners will earn prizes and the class with the most participation will earn a prize too!
        Thursday--Throwback Thursday (Wear attire from your favorite decade.) 
        Friday--Spirit Day (#rollblue Wear your blue and white.)
Candidates please stop in the office and pick up a picture form from lifetouch.
*The Homecoming Dance with be held on Friday, September 13 from 9:30-12:30 in the mutli. Cost is $5 per person. Please enter through the auditorium entrance. Concessions will be available. Lattin’s Photography will be there for pictures. Picture forms are on the student information desk.

The Robotics Team will be selling treats and snacks at the homecoming dance. Each item will be one dollar. 

Several students still have not picked up their yearbooks. Please stop by Mrs. Stephens’ room before school, after school, or during fourth hour to pick yours up. Any copies not picked up by today will go to the office.
