On Wednesday, November 6th the ASVAB Career Exploration test will be administered at 8:20. This is a completely VOLUNTARY TEST. The ASVAB test has been designed to help all students, whether they are planning on immediate employment after high school in civilian or military occupations, or further education at a university, community college, or vocational institution. This program is designed to help students learn more about themselves and the world of work, identify and explore potentially satisfying occupations, and develop an effective strategy to realize their goals. The ASVAB test allows students to see their skill areas and how those areas correspond to specific occupations. This test will take approximately 3 hours to administer and is free to students. Any sophomore, junior, or senior interested in going in the military or would like to explore different career areas should stop in the counselor’s office to sign up as soon as possible.
